Step 1: Have a look around.

The first thing to do is to sign up for Preview Auction Access . This gives you instant access to the Savagesushi auction site - so you can see all the cars that have been auctioned the previous day. You can't bid, of course, but it's a great way to see how Savage Sushi works, search for the models you're interested in, and get a feel for prices and car conditions.

Step 2: Go for it!

Then let's get moving! Simply pay your Auction Access fee of $125 to get instant access to live Japanese car auctions, and the support of the experienced, friendly SavageSushi team. If you find the right car? Simply call Josh at Savage Sushi have a chat about the car your interested to purchase set your price. You will have to login to your account on the SavageSushi website & make a deposit by credit card or paypal its $1000- or 15% of the purchasing price then we'll do the rest - bidding for you up to your threshold, trying to get you the lowest possible price. Not to forget our inspectors are trained professionals, we will check all over & under the car before purchasing it.

Step 3: Bring it on over.

Congratulations! You've snared it. Now you just have to get it here, and get it roadworthy. But don't worry, Savage Sushi will look after everything. Firstly, we will take the your car to our holding yard, sending you the photos along with our report. Then we put it on the next ship (they go just about weekly) for the 2-week voyage to Australia.

Once it arrives, it takes about 4-8 days to clear customs before being taken to the compliance centre to get it complying to Australian standards. Give this about 12 days. Then you'll get your blue slip or roadworthy certificate state depending, and have the car registered in your name.

Step 4: Drive it away!

Take the keys, and drive that baby home. She's yours.
